The dance school year is from mid-September through May or
early June. A six-week summer session is held in June and July.
The studio is typically closed for the month of August.

REGISTRATION
A registration fee of $15 per student at the time of registration.
A registration form must be completed and signed by the
student or guardian before the student may take a class.
Registration fees will not be refunded for any reason.

TUITION
Tuition is an annual fee, paid in 4 payments per dance-school
year. Tuition is due on the first day of each session. The first
payment is due at registration. There are no refunds for missed
classes; missed classes can be made up in a comparable class,
if available.
A 10% discount is applied for tuition paid for the
entire year by September 30.
Holidays and vacations are
considered in the amount due. Tuition assistance is available,
on a limited basis, to students/families with financial
need-please speak with the director to request consideration
for tuition assistance.

We accept payment by cash, check, or money order. Credit
and debit cards are not accepted.

ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance helps the dancer progress in learning
dance technique and style. Students who have not missed
any scheduled classes receive Perfect Attendance Certificates
at the end of the year. Make-up classes do not count toward
Perfect Attendance. Students should arrive promptly at the
studio and be ready 5 minutes before class begins.

HOLIDAYS, VACATIONS, SNOW DAYS
The studio is typically closed for holidays and during school
vacations. The studio closes when Waltham Public Schools are
closed for snow days, and when Waltham declares a snow
emergency. It will be posted on the home page of this website
as early as possible.

ANNUAL RECITAL
The studio holds a year-end show for all classes to demonstrate
the student's progress during the year. Participation is
encouraged but not required.

For each routine in the annual show, there is a costume,
selected by the instructor, to be purchased by the
student/parent. A costume deposit of $45 ($35 for
pre-ballet/tap) per student is due with the 2nd tuition
payment if the instructor chooses a costume that requires
ordering. The remaining costume balance is due by the end of
December so that costumes can be ordered in December. We
do our best to keep costumes as affordable as possible. If the
instructor decides not to order costumes, the instructor will
have guidelines for the students to either make or buy their
own costumes and they will not be charged a costume
deposit.

Students interested in performing a solo routine in the annual
show must receive permission from the director. Solos are
taught in 4 - 5 private lessons. The rate for private lessons is
charged.
